— Freelance Project

TCA Sai 1, or Thai Charoen Alai Sai 1, is my family’s motorcycle parts store, recently expanded to a second branch now operated by my brother. Rooted in my father’s 20 years of experience, this project gave me the chance—as a daughter and designer—to develop a refreshed brand identity for the new branch. The aim was to modernize the brand while preserving its authenticity, and to appeal to our target customers: mechanics and motorcycle users in Bangkok.

The logo was designed to be bold and attention-grabbing, using thick typography and sharp lines. A key challenge was incorporating the Thai alphabet into the design, which was essential for connecting with our audience. It was an exciting process to experiment with Thai letterforms that express the brand’s personality while remaining legible.

Multiple logo versions were created to suit different media and formats. I also designed supporting materials, such as a business card featuring a unique cut inspired by the logo’s form.
