“Meticulous to Detail” is a design project created to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of Thawee Mongkol Construction, a leading construction company in Thailand. Known for their strong focus on precision, the company values careful attention to every detail in each client's building and home.
I had the opportunity to design the art direction for this monograph, which compiles the company’s past projects, interviews, and key moments that have shaped the organization. Each chapter is inspired by fundamental elements of a house.
Chapter 1, “Meticulous,” represents the wall, showcasing the company’s projects. Like a gallery wall, this chapter displays images and close-up details of each project.
Chapter 2, “The Roots,” takes inspiration from the pillar. Vertical lines divide the content, emphasizing the structure. This chapter features interviews with the chairman and CEO, offering insight into the company's foundation.
Chapter 3, “The Secrets,” symbolizes the floor and ceiling. Text appears only at the top of pages or above images, with a horizontal line at the bottom to represent structure. The layout mimics the layered storeys of a residence.
The final chapter, “Construction Contribution,” reflects the roof. The layout contrasts the previous chapter, placing text at the bottom and images at the top, along with a horizontal line. The images in this section bleed to the edge of the page, symbolizing how a roof extends to cover and protect.
